Three-dimensional graphics
Development of a visual three-dimensional image of the desired object
3d modeling
3D modeling is the process of creating a three-dimensional model of an object. Three-dimensional modeling allows you to demonstrate the visual volume of an object or character. Our team develops projects with 3d modelling of any complexity in Nur-Sultan / Astana.
The process of creating a 3D model
Modeling
3D modeling is the process of creating a three-dimensional model of an object. Three-dimensional modeling allows you to demonstrate the visual volume of an object or character. Depending on the task that a three-dimensional object should perform, it can be static or have functionality. The model created for animation (movement) should be optimized for further work with it. The main criteria for preparing a 3D model for animation are: topology and the number of polygons. The topology affects all further work with the 3D object.
UV scan
A scan is a flat map of an object that contains all its elements located on a flat surface. The scan transfers three-dimensional shapes to the plane so that textures can be placed on them.
Texturing
The degree of realism of the created model directly depends on the choice of materials when creating textures. Professional programs for working with three-dimensional graphics are practically unlimited in the possibilities for creating a realistic picture.
Creating and configuring a skeleton
A skeleton is created for an object that should move in the future. The process of creating and configuring a skeleton (bone system) is called skinning. The bones allow the three-dimensional character to move, and fully participate in the animation. One character can have from 30 to 120 or more bones. The more complex the character, the more bones are needed for its correct animation and realistic behavior. To create and edit bones, our team from many others uses 3dsMax, Maya, Blender 3D programs.
Setting the light and the observation point
The choice of light tone, brightness level, sharpness and depth of shadows directly affects the realistic perception of the image. The choice of the observation point for the object also plays a role: from a height of human height, bird's flight, or the effect of presence inside the object due to its scaling.
