British Airways Will Fight With Aerophobia With Vr

The airline introduces a new feature for their flights.

Virtual reality glasses will appear on British Airways planes, ARS Technica reports. The new feature will be available to first-class passengers on a number of flights from London to New York by the end of this year.

According to the company, AlloSky virtual reality glasses from SkyLights should help people suffering from aerophobia. The device provides access to a number of therapeutic programs, including guided meditation and sound therapy, which will help calm those who have a fear of flying.During long flights, you will also be able to watch documentaries or feature films and TV programs about travel in 2D, 3D or 360-degree formats. Earlier, British Airways tested virtual reality technology in the terminal at London’s Heathrow airport, where passengers could get acquainted with their use of Club World class services.

British Airways is not the first airline to offer virtual entertainment to privileged passengers. In 2015, Australia’s Qantas, along with Samsung, began offering VR in planes and Lounges. Alaska Airlines, Air France and Lufthansa have similar services.
